News ArchiveInternational Conference LORIS 200904/08/2009 Within the programme of the 12th year of the renowned conference Internet in State Administration and Self-government, which was held in the days of 6--7 April 2009 in the Aldis Congress Centre in Hradec Králové, there was held another year of the international conference LORIS (Local and Regional Information Society), whose main organizer was Vysočina Region and which was co-financed by European Commission within the TT programme. Traditionally there met representatives of twinning towns of European initiatives i2010 (European Information Society for growth and employment). Among the key topics of a two-day programme there did not lack discussions about development of e-government at the local and regional level, use of EU resources at developing chosen ICT projects, town-twinning and networking or developing of e-tourism. The conference again significantly contributed to more intensive collaboration between twinning towns and regions of the whole Europe among which there did not miss the capital Prague, Hradec Králové, Brno, Ostrava, České Budějovice or Vysočina Region. International conference LORIS 200902/24/2009 Along the prestigious conference Internet in Public Administration and Self-government that takes place in the days of 6--7 April 2009 in the Aldis Congress Centre in Hradec Kralove, there will be held another year of the international conference LORIS (Local and Regional Information Society), whose main organizer is Vysocina Region and which is co-financed by the European Commission -- DG Education and culture within Town Twinning programme. The deputies of the twinning towns will meet and discuss the growth and employment of European information society as the key themes of a two-day programme will not lack discussions about development of e-government on the local and regional level, using resources of the EU for development of some ICT projects, town-twinning and networking or development of e-tourism. The conference will also significantly contribute to elaboration of cooperation of partner towns and regions of the whole Europe, to which there belongs the Czech capital Prague, Slovak capital Bratislava, cities of Hradec Kralove, Banska Bystrica, Wroclaw, Moldava, Karcag and many others.
